There are 25 people waiting on trolleys in University Hospital Kerry today.
That’s according to figures from the Irish Nurses’ and Midwives’ Organisation.
There are 18 patients waiting on trolleys in the Emergency Department at UHK today, while a further seven people are on trolleys in wards.

Nationally today, there are 363 people waiting for a bed in hospitals.
University Hospital Limerick is the worst hit by overcrowding with 85 people waiting for a bed there.
