There are 25 patients waiting on trolleys in University Hospital Kerry today.
That’s according to figures from the Irish Nurses’ and Midwives’ Organisation.
18 of the people on trolleys are in UHK’s emergency department, while a further seven people are on trolleys in wards.

Nationally, there are 480 people waiting for a bed in hospitals today.
University Hospital Limerick is the worst hit by overcrowding; 85 people are waiting for a bed there today.
