24 patients waiting on trolleys in UHK

There are 24 patients waiting on trolleys in University Hospital Kerry’s Emergency Department.

That’s according to figures provided by the Irish Nurses and Midwives’ Organisation.

Nationally today, there are 495 waiting on trolleys.

Letterkenny University Hospital is the worst affected with 64 people awaiting beds.
