There are 23 people waiting on trolleys in University Hospital Kerry today.
That’s according to figures from the Irish Nurses’ and Midwives’ Organisation.
Nationally today there are 559 people waiting for a bed in hospital.

University Hospital Limerick is the worst affected hospital with 108 on trolleys.
That's followed by 45 patients at Cork University Hospital, and 44 at University Hospital Galway.
