23 patients waiting on trolleys in UHK

There are 23 patients waiting on trolleys in University Hospital Kerry’s Emergency Department.

That’s according to figures provided by the Irish Nurses’ and Midwives’ Organisation.

Nationally today, there are 712 people waiting on trolleys.

University Hospital Limerick is the worst affected with 124 people waiting for a bed, while there are 77 without a bed in Cork University Hospital.
