23 patients waiting on trolleys at University Hospital Kerry

23 patients are waiting on trolleys at University Hospital Kerry today.

That’s according to figures by the Irish Nurses’ and Midwives’ Organisation.

Nationally, there are 519 people are waiting for beds in hospitals around the country.

University Hospital Limerick is the worst affected by overcrowding with 82 patients on trolleys, while there are 57 waiting for a bed at Cork University Hospital.
