Over 2,200 more people in Kerry are receiving COVID-19 related social welfare payments this week.
15,537 people are getting the Pandemic Unemployment Payment as they have lost their jobs due to the pandemic.
That is up 2,214 compared to the previous week (13,323).
78 people contacted the Department of Social Protection to close their payment and return to work, up from 59 the week before.
The number of people in Kerry getting the Enhanced Illness Benefit as they have COVID or have to self isolate is continuing to rise; it is up over 200 this week to 2,512.
