There are 22 patients waiting on trolleys in University Hospital Kerry today.
That’s according to figures from the Irish Nurses’ and Midwives’ Organisation.
17 patients are on trolleys in the Emergency Department, while a further five are on trolley’s in UHK’s wards.

Nationally, there are 501 patients waiting for a bed today.
94 of those patients were based in University Hospital Limerick, which is the horst hit by overcrowding today.
