22 patients waiting on trolleys in UHK

There are 22 patients waiting on trolleys in University Hospital Kerry’s Emergency Department.

That’s according to figures provided by the Irish Nurses and Midwives’ Organisation.

Nationally today, there are 663 waiting on trolleys.

University Hospital Limerick is the worst affected with 96 people awaiting beds, while there are 80 without a bed in Cork University Hospital.
