The group behind the reintroduction of the white-tailed sea eagle to Ireland says on balance, last year was a good one for the species.
The scheme to reintroduce the bird to Ireland, after being extinct for a century, began in 2007 in Killarney National Park.
Dr Allan Mee of the White-Tailed Sea Eagle Project says 2020 has been a good year.
Dr Mee says Kerry remains the core and mainstay of the white-tailed eagle population in Ireland.
