A manufacturing plant in Tralee is close early next year with the loss of more than 200 jobs.
BorgWarner, which is based in Monavalley, will close at the end of next March.
Two hundred and ten people work at the plant which has been in Tralee for 30 years.
A spokesperson for BorgWarner says the decision was made due to a drop in demand for products made at the factory.
The Tralee plant makes air heaters for the automotive industry.
The spokesperson says COVID-19 was not a factor in the decision.
BorgWarner is a US multinational which makes components and supplies parts for the automotive industry.
