200 extra car parking spaces are to be provided in Killarney for the next four weeks to help alleviate parking problems in the town.
Kerry County Council has organised free parking at the Church of the Resurrection on Park Road from this Friday until the 9th of August.
Cathaoirleach of the Killarney Municipal District, Cllr Marie Moloney said the local authority was grateful to Killarney Parish for facilitating the parking and encouraged those visiting the town to avail of the free parking spaces.

Those attending Mass at the Church of the Resurrection will be accommodated.
The extra parking has been provided while Birds Funfair is operating in the Fairhill carpark, which comes at a cost of 120 car parking spaces in the town.
