20 vacant houses in council stock in Castleisland Corca Dhuibhne Municipal District

There are currently 20 vacant dwellings owned by the council in the Castleisland Corca Dhuibhne Municipal District.

That’s according to figures provided to councillors at the recent MD meeting.

13 of these properties are awaiting repairs.

Three are under repair but have been allocated, while a further two are under repair and remain unallocated to a social housing applicant.

One council-owned dwelling in the MD is repaired but not yet allocated, while one is repaired and allocated but currently unoccupied.
