There are 20 patients waiting on trolleys in University Hospital Kerry today.
That’s according to figures from the Irish Nurses’ and Midwives’ Organisation.
13 patients are waiting on trolleys in UHK’s emergency department, while a further seven are on trolleys in wards.

Nationally, there are 577 patients waiting on trolleys in hospital this morning.
University Hospital Limerick is the worst hit by overcrowding with 96 people waiting on trolleys there.
