There were 20 patients waiting on trolleys in University Hospital Kerry today.
That’s according to figures from the Irish Nurses’ and Midwives’ Organisation.
Nationally there were 529 patients waiting for a bed in hospital.

The worst affected is University Hospital Limerick where there were 101 people waiting on trolleys.
