20 patients waiting on trolleys in UHK

There are 20 patients waiting on trolleys in University Hospital Kerry’s Emergency Department.

That’s according to figures provided by the Irish Nurses’ and Midwives’ Organisation.

Nationally today, there are 545 waiting on trolleys.

University Hospital Limerick is the worst affected with 85 people awaiting beds, while there are 70 without a bed in Cork University Hospital.
