13 COVID-19 related deaths and 604 new cases this evening - fewer than five in Kerry

The Department of Health has reported 13 COVID-19 related deaths this evening.

As of midnight last night, the Department had been notified of 604 new cases of the virus.

Fewer than five of these are in Kerry, which continues to have the lowest 14-day incidence rate of any county, with 33.2 per 100,000 people.

That figure nationally is 164.5.
