1,276 new cases of COVID-19 confirmed this evening, with 55 in Kerry

The Department of Health has been notified of 1,276 new cases of COVID-19 this evening, with 55 of these cases in Kerry.

The Department has also reported 8 new COVID-19 related deaths.

Of these deaths, 1 occurred in June, 2 in September and 5 in October.

Of this evening's cases, 278 are in Dublin, 149 in Cork, 108 in Meath, 107 in Galway, 80 in Wexford, 55 in Kerry, and the remaining 499 cases are spread across 20 counties.

The total number of confirmed cases in the county is now 717.
