The government needs to up its game regarding announcements and statements about the reopening of schools.
That's according to Fianna Fáil councillor and secondary school teacher Fionnán Fitzgerald.
Cllr Fitzgerald says that Health Minister Stephen Donnelly gave the impression the negotiations regarding the reopening of schools were still up in the air.
He added that while Minister Donnelly did later clarify the negotiations had concluded, announcements through leaks, tweets and retweets is not what people deserve.
He did, however, defend his party colleague, the Minister for Health, who he says has done a very good job overall.
Meanwhile, Killarney restaurateur Paul Treyvaud has strongly criticised the government's communication about the wider reopening of society.
He says he'll open his restaurant on July 1st no matter what, as people are beyond frustrated by what he calls appalling communication.
