A Kerry county councillor says it's more important than ever that the South Kerry Greenway gets the go ahead.
Cllr Michael Cahill says if businesses in South Kerry were on their knees before, they are practically KO'd following the effects of lockdown.
The Fianna Fáil councillor added it's imperative the greenway gets the green light if tourism businesses are to reopen successfully in the coming weeks and months.
Cllr Cahill says the greenway is needed to resurrect and drive on the local economy, create jobs, attract additional visitors and for future generations.
